Hayagrivas Silk House is a unit of 115 year old Kanchipuram Srinivasa & Co, a renowned name in the silk sari trade. Being the pioneers, our journey in silk saree trade has been long and our roots, very strong. A typical family owned business, our values has been passed on for five generations. In the temple city of Kanjivaram, we have a weaving unit where we design and weave most of our silk saree from scratch. We have constantly worked with the weaver and evolved along with the changing needs of the customer. Silk Saree has been our specialty ever since and our knowledge in the field is commendable.
Hayagrivas Silk House, a well known brand, has a showroom in Chennai. Our passion for silk can be witnessed in the cherry-picked collection that we offer. All of this has been possible due to the commitment and dedication shown by the family managing the business for five generations, their staffs, weavers and a loyal customer base.
We Took a Step Further…
We comprehended that there are so many artisans and highly skilled weavers in the temple town of Kanjivaram and so few possibilities for them to platform their work. Therefore we took a step to create an online platform that can make a difference to the livelihoods of these artisans. More than ever, we are now increasingly dependent on technology and E-Commerce. The convenience of shopping online has made us use this platform to serve the customer needs. It works both ways, as in, helps the weaver reach his target and serve a customer miles away.
